Ok, I'll stop as it doesn't work

Your logic is very broken. Firstly Astroboy's brain is atomic powered, howerver there is mention of his rocket boosters in his feet. These must use some form of solid, gas or liquid fuel that is burnt to propel him, or there would be no flame emitted when he uses them. Even considering significant advances in neuclear physics, there is no way a fission or fusion engine of the size of Astroboy would be able to produce this sort of propulsion.
I totally agree with you. However you were the one to propose solar panels as a replacement. Maybe you will care to explain us how this will change anything?

Secondly I don't see any real point in refuting everything that is hurled at me. Most of it is obviously tripe and thefore beneath my contempt to think about let alone put IO time in.
Since you were the first one to hurl something, it seems logical you care to answer when you are yourself hurled something at in response, don't you think?

Can we stick to the real topic which is not me but Astroboy and his abject hopelessness as a role model for children?
When I was a young robot I never went all gooey at the or a bird in flight. I fried it with my death ray and served it up to my humans for lunch.[/quote]
So you think Astro is a bad model for children? Would you propose Bender instead?
What is the problem with Astro in the first place? Is it because he "wastes fossil fuels"? There is nothing about that in any anime I saw. You say it is technically impossible but as a replacemenent you propose something that is technically equivalent. And to terminate, each time Astro runs out of energy, his jets are weakening too, proving it comes from his batteries, which are not fossil fuels.
I am also surprised you didn't try to contest the fact that a machine can think, nor the fact that human memories can be "uploaded" to a mineral brain. You know what? This is called "science-fiction", the author is allowed to suppose true things that may be false, like the possibility to create movement solely from pure energy, having robots that think and can have human memories.
