Uran(ium):
Astrogirl
Uran
Zoran

I believe Uran was called Sarah in the Canadian 80s dub, but I don't have confirmation.

It is Sarah for the 80's eps of Astroboy, and Astro boy name was Astro for short.
There one thing i like to add. I do not know about Sarah name for the 60's, but in the mini comics that is at http://www.darkhorse.com/. Her name is Uran, and in the 2003 eps she Zoran.

Sarah? Is this a french canadian dub or english version? Because I know when I watched it was Uran. I remember because of the giggles that name would get in my grade 1 & 2 classes. Does Daddy Walrus have a different name in this canuck version too? I remember that name and also trying to remember his real name (albert duncan) in the middle of class...

J (In Ottawa, who swears he never saw this "canadian dub" you're all talking about.) :huh:

I'm from Edmonton Alberta Canada. i think i have the name spell right. I just need to see a eps of astroboy of the 80's with her in it, and they say her name. Then i can say if it real or not. Do you know a web site that have 80's eps of astroboy to download?

Well Anapan's FTP server is the best place to go. There's tons of 80's series stuff there, a couple 60's eps (last I checked) and a handful of 2000's eps. I have no idea what the address is though, it seems to change monthly. I've downloaded everything that is watchable on my old computer (the 2000 series stuff is just too powerful for my computer to handle) to my hd. I also have Uran the Tomboy that cybotron converted into Realvideo, but I don't have a place to put it up on the web so you could download it. You'll have to ask him, maybe check the website he made up (Astro's House).

Yeah I remember it like it was yesterday (although it was 18 years ago) we were talking about it in my grade 2 class and we got around to the names of the characters, I remember Uran because it got a lot of snickers (hee hee, urine) and also remember the Name Daddy Walrus/Albert Duncan, if that name also happens to be different. It was also broadcast (this I am not so sure about) on Global-TV (CIII) out of Toronto. We did get a couple American stns back then but there was never anything good on those channels...

Yes, it's Sarah in the Canadian version. Not to be bragish but I remember our dub being better than the US dub I watched not too awful long ago.

Commonturk was the name of the big robot in the "tournament" battle.
