You can try Anapan's server:
ftp://ast:ast@atomu.ath.cx:6872/
Or mine:
ftp://ftp_user:ESQhJ@fafner.homelinux.com

Be warned that Anapan's server is sometimes down (it is the case right now), and mine has a low bandwidth (you can expect easily 4 hours per episode).
Well... My FTP server is sometimes down too, maintenance problems recently <_< But it is over now, honnest :P

What a shame the FanSubbers only got to do the first 6 episodes or so before the licence was aquired. The english dub of this show was just to bitterly dissappointing that I am not in the least bit surprized that it failed to grab an audience in america.

Aussies seem more forgiving. The show has run steadily here for months. Plus the DVDs (as the grapevine tells) are selling quite well too. I can tell you that I am not one of the purchasers nor regular watchers. The only way I would even consider getting into the 2004 series is if it was re-licenced elsewhere and was treated wit hthe respect it deserved. I know this may seem a little extreeme but I say it for perspective, not comparison..

The Japanese series is available in it's entirety on Emule. Harddrive space and the fact that I won't watch any of them stop me from downloading any more japanese epsidoes than I have already.
Oh and my FTP should be fixed. Guess it does need to be tweaked a little still occasionally. It's alot easier to fix than before at least.

I realise there are ways of getting the original show Anapan. They are useless to anyone that does not speak Japaneese. Only the first 6 or so episudes were FanSubbed.

That's right. There are some cartoon encoding/distro groups that were capturing the show from YTV, Kids WB and Cartoo Network, but I got too busy with work to check their IRC groups after the first 2 eps were shown. There's a chance one of those groups got more eps encoded. You can get the names of those groups from the first few seconds of the videos, and google them for their homepages/irc channel names.

I have been for a search recently and found only a few links, whose most of them work really badly ( often more than 50% of the parts are missing  ). Even if they are in Japanese, I would gladly watch them :P Could you provide me the source so I can download them and put them on my FTP server after watching them? ;)

Source? You mean like ED2K links?
I haven't been trying to get the files so I don't know how good their proliferation is on the network, or how many are available right now.
I have to leave emule going for a couple days to get well connected to the Kad part of the network (which is where I think I find most of the japanese 2003 series links) and I've switched over to Bit Torrent to get some files recently, but once I get back on emule I'd be happy to export some ED2K urls for ya if you want...

Yes, I meant in a general meaning: the source of the data ;)

So maybe it's too late... The links you saw are probably the ones I got. Most are dead :(

It would be very kind. Maybe some of them are not dead ;)

hmm.. I just did a search on Emule and it does seem that the new series of Astro is indeed on the rare side. I only got returns in search for 5 complete episodes shared among only 7 users!

Looks like the eps are pretty much gone unless some fresh seeds get shared out.

I don't thin they would be on Torrent either but if you would like to go fishing then http://home.quicknet.nl/qn/prive/romeria/a.../animesites.htm
may be a decent place to start.
