Of the titles listed, I would say Ghost In The Shell (Stand Alone Complex). It seems to be dealing with the topic of AI robots as 'persons' legally speaking. The Tachikomas are intelligent machines that are just now developing human-like thought processes. However, the humans are afraid that this will make them unpredictable and therefore, unreliable. They seem intent on depriving them of this characteristic.
In the movies, the character 'Major' is a cyborg woman, whose body is nearly all machine. I think only her brain remains human. The authorities are out to get her, because, except for that brain, she is government property. Thus, they believe that their stake in the electromechanical portion outweighs her rights to a functioning body. While it is hers in a physical sense, the accounting department thinks it is theirs. Too bad if she is left as a brain without a body.
