Before I start let me say this is in no way against robots the story gets into it a lot but the main real problem was lavos and only the non AI robots in the story of this game got infected.

I think IM going to write my own Story about Chrono Trigger what happens at the time 1999 AD the apocalypse day of Lavos here is a summary if u aren’t already saying what the heck are you talking about:

Basically this wizard named Magus in the year 600 AD summoned this giant Boss guy named Lavos to Earth to destroy him in the year 1999 AD he comes and not only is Magus not around at the time none of the heroes of the game are so he comes and he hits Earth hard BUT HERE IS THE THING NO ONE FIGHTS BACK so not only does earth get destroyed and become a giant Ice land sooner or later the Robots Get a giant Virus and there programming is changed to destroy all humans and turn them into power if they can to make more Robots for no reason really just a major Virus. In the game the whole main idea is to go to 1999 AD and kill Lavos stop him from destroying the world. I though it would be interesting to right if Crono in the game and your group fails to kill him and in defense of Earth we hit Lavos with a Nuclear missile which fails and Causes the virus to the Robots my story is a War against the robots and how to resurrect magus and Crono who are the only who can stop him along with his Crew.
I know this seems random I can try to explain more about Chrono Trigger if u want?
