The pirated versions of the 80s & 2003 use a few from time to time.

When my brother and I were watching the episode The Robots Nobody Wanted in 1982, we were shocked at the end that the space reporter said "Where have you been, you bums!"
I think we were about 7 or 8 years old. Some time before that my brother got his mouth washed out with soap for saying "bum".
(BTW in Australia, "bum" doesn't mean homeless or worthless person.)

A few weeks before Mothers' day, the Outback Steakhouse runs an ad that uses either 'bum' or 'bun,' but I cannot tell which. However, given the lyrics, I think it is the former:

[blah, blah, blah], even when she whacks you on the bum, mums the word & so the [something or other] is mum. :D

It's been suggested I censor the picture, since the forums automatically censor text swearing. The original picture is here.

I'm pretty sure that kind of language comes up again in the bootleg sub. Ah, great moments in translation! :D

Here are several Japanese words that can be translated as the offending word under discussion:

unchi: s###, bull#### (col)
unko: s###, bull#### (col)
baba: old woman, hag
baba: s###, bull#### (col)
kuso: feces, excrement, s###, bull#### (col)
daiben pay by proxy, act for another, speak for another
daiben feces, excrement, s###

Note that 'Unko' as used in Tenchi Muyo GXP has two meanings, one is lucky, the other is as stated above.
