Wow! Thanks Eileen! :D

I almost feel like erasing his other point, just to know how he'd look like without both of them! :P

The makers of these ppl make A LOT of mistakes. ;)
Maybe they were in a rush?
If time was a tad slower, they wouldn't be in such a rush. :P

I'm surprised to find that many mistakes, because I didn't expect that. Usually, I don't notice those mistakes in TV series or movies.

On the other hand, I don't know how many cels there are in an episode or in the entire series, but I'm sure there are thousands of them. 2 or 3 mistakes per episode is not a lot, and they aren't huge mistakes if I remember well, except for the background disapearing in Uran Falls in Love! I had seen maybe 2 of them in the entire series the first time I watched it a few months ago.

I'm thinking that we could make an interesting comparison with computer programs, like how many mistakes one can find per X number of lines of code! :P

Maybe they decided they could live with a few mistakes here and there because it wasn't worthwile to spend too much time checking everything? Or maybe they simply couldn't afford it. I wonder if they could easily spot them when they watched the series!

There are episodes in which I didn't find any mistake so far even if I paid attention: Atlas Lives Again, Save the Carolina 3, The Secret of Bee City, The Genie From Outer Space, The Monster of Clarken, I think The Light Ray Robot and probably a few others. That doesn't mean there aren't, of course! :D

I would say that at least a few other cartoon episodes also make mistakes.
One of my favorite shows are The Weekenders; and they have a couple mistakes, like clothes changes and hair changes (a character named Tish has them). :D

Any other shows I hardly think have mistakes, even if they are animated or cartoon made. Movies can also have some mistakes. Oh, here's a question, did the Astro Boy movie, Marine Express, have any mistakes? I don't remember. :P Would anybody have any screenshots of this movie?

Yes, fafner spotted one. This is the screencapture cybotron submitted in the caption game:

And here are a few from later on in the movie:

Tezuka's Marine Expresse Page

It was an obvious one, but I didn't even notice it as I watched. I spent almost the whole episode wondering why Adam wouldn't fly! That was pretty much the only thing I paid attention to throughout the movie!

From A Robot President:

As Daddy Walrus closes Astro's chest, his chest cavity disappears!

This one probably isn't a mistake, but his chin looks like an afterthought:

I have a pic of this somewhere on my PC, but not where I expect it to be. But, anyway Uranium is skipping merrily along, Christmas star in hand, la la la-ing Jingle Bells. Behind her are windows that are frosted for lack of double panes. Now, as the series was set in the 21st century, I would say that the frosted windows were a bit odd. ;)
