While in the manga, it was Cobalt who accompanied Atom to see this new robot, here, Uranium acts as the mischiefious one who activates it:
As in the manga, Atom decides that this robot is dangerous and must never be completed. So, he rips-off the head, and flys away hoping to hide it, knowing he can never return home. However, this little boy finds it, & as his village has no electrical power, he wants to use it to give light for all the villagers.
However, his mama dilikes his taking the robot (Atom)'s robot head, & decides to administer a spanking:
"I could tell you about one of those problems that would fit in that other thread, but its embarrassing, so I won't."
