I WOULD LIKE MADMAN TO MAKE SOME KIND OF NEGOTIATION WITH
PIXAR AND DISNEY TO MAKE ASTRO IN 3D AS TOY STORY MOVIE.

THAT WILL BE GREAT...

Ahhh! Red text on medium blue backgroud is very annoying. ;)

Regardless, Madman does not make movies about Atom, it only buys the rights to the films (for its respective territory) & puts them on DVD. I believe Sony actually is making bthe film, but Tezuka Co. owns the rights and sells them as pleases.

We've been waiting years for the Astroboy CGI movie, but there's been no news for a while.

And welcome to the forums. :)

WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING? Seriously, that would be cool. OR better yet, has as anyone seen "Mickey's philharmagic" in the Magic Kingdom park at Disneyworld? I'd be really cool if someone did something like THAT! An actual 3-D show featuring Astroboy! ^_^

Well I've said this before, but I don't think anyone got the full benefits of it, so I'll say it again. I'm currently taking a 3D Graphics course in school, so as soon as I learn the basics (which I already have), I just need to get the software, and I'll be able to make a 3D astro boy at home, Yay for everyone!! I'll be sure to post pics when I have a completed product I'm happy with.. Granted this may take awhile, because I don't have the software...

Then you may be interested by linuxmovies.org: there are quite an impressive number of 3D editors and renderers. Although they are primarily for Unix systems (in particular GNU/Linux), many have a Windows port.

It is shareware. Limitations on the "free" version is no save/export ;)
