That reminds me of a translation-test that was done to test-proof an automatic translator software. I will use French as it is the language in which I know the test, I'm not sure it sounds ok in English for example
"La chair est faible, mais l'esprit est fort." ("Flesh is weak, but spirit is strong.")
Translated in Russian, then back to French: ( read with a strong Russian accent )
"La viande est pourrie, mais la vodka est forte." ("Meat is rotten, but vodka is strong.")
Obviously the translator didn't make a clear difference between flesh/meat and spirit/alcohol/vodka
