If you need a good image software, you can try GIMP. It is completely free, and has most of the functionalities of other image softwares, including printscreen.
The real sign that someone has become a fanatic is that he completely loses his sense of humor about some important facet of his life. When humor goes, it means he's lost his perspective.

But if you use the printscreen function in Gimp, won't you just get a printscreen of Gimp itself? I must be missing something...

I can't tell, I've never seen a printscreen option in any image software I've used, which doesn't mean they didn't have one. In softwares like a DVD player, it's worth it because it allows you to capture only what's shown by the software and not the whole screen... But in a picture software, what would you get, a screen capture of the image you are working on in the picture software? Why would anyone need that? Why not just save the file instead?
