Seems like Ochanomizu was leaning on it in the top frame, and broke it by the middle one.

With his weight, it is somewhat understandable!

Here is another one, from Uran Falls in Love, much more noticeable in Manga Entertainment's version than in any other version because this robot being hit was censored...

Here is what we can see with Madman's version:

His hair disappear. On Manga's version, it goes like this:

The second to last pic above makes it easier to notice because his hair disappear from that frame to the last one! :P

This guy resembles Happy Cavity Sam, of Operation, because of his red nose.

But maybe he is supposed to be WC Fields

Haha, I've just realized that not only his cape is missing here, but his belt is missing as well! :D

A little later in the same episode (The Runaway Subway Train), his belt is left white:

It happens also in Atlas Lives Again:

Again in Atlas Lives Again, the flames out of Astro's jets are left white... I realize he is in the water, but usually they aren't white anyway (I put the next two pictures for comparison):

And a mosquito here, from the same episode, papa's button is left uncolored in the first pic:

I have a few other mosquitos waiting but I'm too lazy for now! :P

It's only a small mistake I noticed but it bugs me everytime I watch "The Robot Circus" dubbed. It's in the recap of the previous episode as astro is being put into the box you see his mouth move but no sound then just before the clip (and recap) ends you hear Astros voice saying "Dad I'm here! Help me!" though his voice sounds too lively for a robot whos power is pretty much all juiced out.

I'ld also say while this isnt really a mistake but something I feel in general faults the american dub. Many of the voice actors for the dub sound like they are reading from the script or something, with characters like Uran and Elefun being some of the worst offenders of sounding script-read. Because of this I find I much rather the Japanese audio track

It's interesting, it has never hit me, but now that you mention it, from memory I can think of a few examples of what you point out. The guy from Amazon who did the review for the 1980 Box Set also pointed out that the dub was flat. For some reason, it never bothered me.

My main complaint with this dub is that I keep hearing "Atlas' voice" in basically every single episode, even though Atlas appears only in 8 of them. :P

No matter which dub I choose, there is always something wrong. I prefer the French dub, but it's heavily cut. Maybe, if the French dub had been flat, it would have bothered me more because it's my main langage.

In The Return of Queen Cleopatra, there was already a mistake in the color of the queen's staff when Cesar gave it to Astro. There is a similar one here (take a look at the color at the end):

Similarily, the stripes color of whatever this guy has on the head switches from blue to yellow (look at the one on his right side - left side of the picture):

The black spots on the fur come and go:

As Astro flies around this robot, there is a frame in which there is no flame out of his jets (several frames in fact, since it's the same sequence that loops):

In Uran's Twin, Daddy Walrus' mouth is over his moustache:

From The Death Balloon:

The hair of the man who is raising his fist in the first picture change color as the balloon go up behind him. I won't post a picture because it's very hard to see in side by side pictures, but on video, we can see his hair "blinking" from one color to a slightly different one.

The man on the left has a checked suit, but the checks are not in the second and third pictures before coming back in the last one.

The chair Skunk is sitting on gets darker:

So do the drapes & everything else in the image. Perhaps the darkened scene accompanies Skunk's evil plan as a metaphor.
