The real sign that someone has become a fanatic is that he completely loses his sense of humor about some important facet of his life. When humor goes, it means he's lost his perspective.

Did I miss something or what? How did you come to the conclusion that it was the French military? Is it because of that old joke that France never wins any war? (Actually, I have no clue if it's a joke or not, but I do remember what shows up in Google when typing "French military victories"! :p I found it funny although I have no idea if there is any truth behind that statement.)

im pretty sure the french one a few things...i mean they did take over a lot of places with napoleon.or have i got the story wrong...
reminds me of an old idea for a flash toon someone i knew was making.his origional idea was to have english flying troops trying to attack something, but failing, until being helped out by other plane.theres probebly a joke in there about how we could'nt beat hitler without the U.S.'s help.at least it ment the end of gas-masks and rations though *if i had to ration cola,i think i'd go mad XD*
yeah,i too have a deviant art acount ^.^ pop in some time to enjoy the fine art of rubishness!

 No, it's just that the military guy who orders the attack (the one with the moustache) looks like a stereotypical French waiter. Ever since I was little I've thought that, although now I look at it again there's no particular indication he's French!
It's funny the assumptions you stick to until they're questioned.

What's funny is that I had thought he looked Japanese... For some reason I see similarities between him and how the Japaneses were drawn in Tintin. :D
