I love your questions, jeffbert! :D Oh BTW, I loved the "Uran Loves Hit Man" answer in your previous post! Easier to remember bad translations than real titles? :p

jeffbert wrote:In the 80s series, how many episodes can you name that had treasure seekers in them?

A lot, but does an episode such as Frankenstein count? ;)

jeffbert wrote:How many 80s episodes can you name that have humans committing crimes specifically against robots? Kids' teasing does not count.

It depends of what is your definition of a crime... How about Robot Land, for example? Or Tornado?

jeffbert wrote:Other than Atlas, name a robot in the 80s that thought all humans were bad.

Odin! Surely that musn't have been the one you were thinking of, right? :p At least I know of a more obvious one.

I have the other answers (I admit I had to check for the law, but luckily it was right where I checked first) except the one about the parents.

Since I do not want this to become a game just between you and I, I'll refrain from replying to the other questions. ;) Hopefully somebody else will join us.

It should include an expidition, encampment, or excavation. I exclude robbery.

Hmm, I thought my questions were rather clear; however, you have proven me wrong. Let me restate this one:

BlacK Looks ("Blackie Young," "Horace Hooligan," "Sharky Dirk") was one character who robbed & destroyed robots. Thus his story was one that featured humans directing their criminal activity only against robots. We could say that Guiss abused Atlas, but this is not the thing I want. I want another episode in which a human or humans seek out robots as their victims.

Odin! Surely that musn't have been the one you were thinking of, right? :p At least I know of a more obvious one.

No, I was thinking of a different robot.

Somebody else, please reply! I do not want to win again.

For question #1, I have four. Two more are questionable. Or maybe five and one questionable? This is still a bit tricky!

For question #2, I have four plus one questionable.

Also, I just thought of another great Q:

Although I do not beleive this is an official term, what is Uranium/ Zoran/Astrogirl's paradox? :p

Astro Forever has PMed me with 5/7 correct answers. However, she wants to give someone else a chance to win. As I will be offline soon, I give her power of attorney to declare someone else who answers a few correctly the right to post the next questions. :astro:

Why is this thread so unpopular? Please participate:

  1. Dr. Ochanomizu was thrown into the arena in which 2 1960s episodes?
  2. Dr.Ochanomizu faced the firing squad in which 2 1960s episodes?
  3. How many episodes can you name in which Dr. Ochanomizu's nose was abused?

Only 4 in the 1980 series. I probably have missed a few, or else the others were just gags in which his nose didn't really suffer.

Since nobody else played, I'll give my answers to jeffbert's previous quiz:

1.
The Monster of Clarken
The Hijack Airship
The Human-Faced Rock
The World of Odin
The Wreck of the Titan

I wasn't sure of The Secret of the Mayas: they are treasure seekers, but it also ends up being a robbery.

Even The Human-Faced Rock and, to a lesser extent, The Monster of Clarken could be classified as robberies, in a way.

2.
A Robot President
Uran The Tomboy
Blackie Young
Uran Falls in Love

My questionable one was The Greatest Robot in the World.

3. Fireball. :)

4. Uran Falls in Love.

5. I only know of Atlas Lives Again.

6. Article 136 (in Robot Land; apparently, it's article 9 in Lilly on Peligro Island according to jeffbert! I wonder if it's a case of bad translation. It would be interesting to check in the Japanese version. :p )

7. Humans, because they have dreams, in The Hijacked Airship.

Jeffbert, what was Uran's paradox? I have no clue.
