as far as blood in astroboy goes,i prefere to keep it in my astroboy fanwork, and not acctualy from astro himself...

There's a violent scene in the 1980 episode where the pilot of a spacecraft is shot by an hijacker. In the Japanese version, I think you can see the beam/bullet go through him, and then the blood on the floor. Most of this was removed in the English version, still enough to understand what happened though.

thanks astroforever...now i REALLY want to see the japanese version of that episode...and i was just happy that osuma used the words "die" and "dead" (rather then the cliche' thing in childrens shows...like "destroyed" ¬.¬ )

Terminators bleed true blood (I mean in the fictional world, not the movie scene), as there are real and living human cells/tissues around the metallic skeleton.

Oh, so Osamu had blood in some epi like that one. I think it's okay as long as it doesn't show the blood streaming out dramaticly. Saying that, if I was going to make the Astro Movie, there will be at least one scene that shows blood but not a lot. It will be hidden in a way. I wouldn't show someone shooting anyone. Oh, I mean in a live-action film.

admitidly,in one of the fanfics im doing,or writtren peices,if you like,witch is a crossover between my astroboy endgame series and my all-time favorite horror game,Splatterhouse,the blood can be running knee high at points ^^;*example,the dungeon scene i have planned* if i was making an astroboy movie, it feture a little bit of blood,just to get the effect right.mabey the shadow of someones blood spraying a bit,or someone walking in as if they've been in a street fight.nothing to drastic like heads blowing up or anything...

This topic was kinda, not really, helpful, but oh will. I would have to pick just one person to share my official ideas. I would perfer a hard core Astro Boy fan, but it doesn't have to be. This is no fact-fic.
