“You weren’t planning to hurt them, were you?” he asked. Zircon smirked for a second and then shook her head.

That part got me going a little bit, was that a friendly smirk or a mean one?

Because I’m interested to know, because after she smirked she shook her head, so for a spilt second was Zircon thinking of hurt them. Then she must for thought "no, no,no, no, why would I do that?" sort of thing.

I just wish that the forums now would allow members to edit more than once from earlier before it was updated..I would've fixed another mistake that Sparx had noticed.
Anyway, I had problems getting the document copied to this computer; the laptop that had the document couldn't be seen by the computer, so I had to move it to another place till the problem was fixed. Here's the next chapter:

31: Tawashi’s Complaint

Everyone was glad to know that they’ve landed safely in front of the Ministry. Once the shield was cleared, everyone was relieved; however, Zircon fell onto her hands and knees due to exhaustion. All of her friends have noticed the action and ran towards her.

“You alright, Zircon?” Astro asked worriedly. His friends were also worried. “She could’ve found another way to save us other than this,” Kennedy said. “But, she keeps risking these things.” Alejo shook his head. “What’s going to happen if Zircon keeps this up?” Abercrombie asks. “We’ll lose a player for Rocket Ball practice!” “No one’s going to lose Zircon,” Astro remarked. “She’s our newest friend; we all know better than that.” Crono stood in.

“Don’t forget that she’s our newest addition to our group,” he said. “She also helped us stay protected and make our way to the Ministry,” Kina replied. Zoran stepped in randomly. “Zircon’s like a big sister to me!” she blurted, while also giving out this sobbing look on her face.

“A big sister?” Zircon said. Everyone was shocked that she recovered. “Zircon!” they all yelled. She then slowly looked up and smiled a bit; all of her friends surrounded her. Astro helped her up. “You okay?” he asked once more. Zircon changed the subject. “Okay, enough to run into the Ministry; Inspector Tawashi’s coming here soon.” She points at the speeding police cruisers headed toward the Ministry; it caught everyone’s attention, so they ran inside. Astro told everyone besides Zircon to stay in the lobby as they ran to find Dr. O’shay. Tawashi later on entered with her men into the Ministry by the time Astro, Zircon, and Dr. O’shay got back down to the lobby.

“Dr. O’shay!” Tawashi yelled. “I recommend you to shut down that robot!” “I’m not going to do anything to hurt Zircon!” Doctor yelled back. This continued on for awhile; Zircon kept looking sadly at the floor while Astro kept staring back and forth at the feud. “Zircon is dangerous! Her reaction to other energies can affect mankind!” “Avoiding it is all of what’s needed!” “Oh really? Then why don’t you have it tested?” “Dr. O’shay doesn’t need to test anything!” It was Zircon who made them both shut up. She was still staring at the floor when that was said; her hands were clutched into fists, and then she looked at Tawashi.

“I’ve seen many people already fight or worry over this before! I just have to avoid other energies; what’s so frightening about it?” Tawashi just stared at Zircon with a solemn face; his anger was still flowing inside of him. Zircon released the grip from her hands, and then looked down at the floor.

“It’s nothing really hard to hard to understand,” she said. “Though, isn’t it true that losing me right now, or later on, can affect others? To me, I’d lose everything; I also include everything I thought about.” Dr. O’shay looked surprised on what she had said; it did so just as much as Tawashi. He turns back on them.

“I was only doing this soon enough before it was too late,” he said. “None of you know what Dr. Tenma is up to, do you? Well, I’m not waiting to see what he’s up to next; I’m going ahead of his plans.” “We’re trying the best we can without your doing, Tawashi,” Doctor said. “That’s what you always say,” Tawashi talked back. “I’m moving forward before this happens; Zircon needs her final decision before Tenma does anything about.” Astro steps in.

“Zircon can avoid Dr. Tenma’s plans without being shut down; whatever he’s planning on doing, you’re still a step behind that.” Doctor agrees. “He’s right. Have you done any investigation on that; anytime today or before?” Tawashi just stood there silent and then turned around to stare at Dr. O’shay.

”It’s still under investigation,” he said; though, the subject was changed. “In the meantime, Zircon needs to think about this herself; Metro City is on the line until then if we don’t do anything!” He then heads for the door but pauses and turns around. “If you dare think you plan to get away with interrupting my investigation, I’ll allow my men to stand guard in areas you’ll never proceed to pass, so don’t bother trying.” He left the building. Zircon stood still with her head was still tilted towards the floor. Everyone figured out what was going on and all stared at her. Dr. O’shay walked over and laid a hand onto Astro’s shoulder.

“I might not have to do that memory scan as promised,” he said. “It’s getting late anyway. Do you mind escorting Zoran and Zircon home?” Astro didn’t mind; however, the class looked really concerned. Otherwise, the lobby was silent for a second; Astro then gathered his sister and Zircon’s attention to exit the Ministry.

What do you mean? I can't seem to recall any limit to edit a post.

I find it kind of odd...either it's me or the forums; a post I've made when I posted chapter 30, I tried editing it since I found a mistake. Afterwards I couldn't find the edit button when I found another mistake...maybe it could be the computer.. Right now it doesn't bother me, but I'll see what the problem is.

Chapter 32: Struck/Decisions

Zircon didn’t talk throughout the entire way home; her mind was too busy on what Inspector Tawashi had said: *Zircon needs to think about this herself; Metro City is on the line until then if we don’t do anything!* As the three entered the door, she headed straight for the stairs, up towards the bedroom. Astro and Zoran just stopped by the door. Zoran hardly had the chance to say anything to her on the way house; although, she got Astro’s attention. He was just as concerned as Dr. O’shay was from the Ministry.

“Astro,” she said. “We’re not going to lose Zircon, are we?” Astro was silent for awhile until he realized that Zoran was talking to him. “Zircon has only been around for almost a week,” he said. “We can’t just lose and forget about her; this is just making the whole city worry.” “What are we going to do?” “We don’t know what Dr. Tenma’s up to right now; we’ll just have to wait till then.” Zoran looks at the floor and then back at Astro. “Well, good night, big brother.” She then walks up the stairs to her room. Astro stayed silent for another minute and then started for the stairs. Dr. O’shay soon entered the house by the time he reached the first step; he stopped by the entrance of the stairs.

“Oh, Astro,” Doctor said. “Are you still concerned about, well, the quarrel between Tawashi and Zircon?” “Does it have to be that serious?” Astro asked; he then turned to face Doctor O’shay. “Everyone around the city is as much worried as we could be; we need to get Inspector Tawashi to change his mind.” Doctor just sighed. “I’m afraid there’s no way to stop such a thing,” “But we’ve got to!” Astro’s hands were clutched in while his face had so much of a terrified, feared look.

“Zircon still needs our help,” he said. “I can’t imagine the consequences that may come upon us now.” Doctor was quiet, through he agreed; sure, he was with the idea. Though, could it be simple enough to settle with Tawashi? Doctor had something in mind, and smiled a bit.

“It may be risky, but I think we can pull it off,” he said. Astro was desperate on knowing, but Dr. O’shay just continued with his grinning. “Just head to bed, Astro; I may tell you in the morning. “Astro just nodded and then went up the staircase.

Zircon was sitting at the side of her bed still thinking about what had happened back at the Ministry. Astro walked by and sat by her side.

“I can’t go on with this decision,” Zircon spoke. “There’s no way I can get him to go on with this; I know that I can handle Dr. Tenma.” “I don’t expect things like this to happen as much as you do,” Astro said. “Though, Dr. Tenma can find ways to even get part Inspector Tawashi’s toughest defenses; to me, he probably doesn’t want me to get involved.” “I should’ve told him more about this jewel when I had the chance,” She looked up, and then at Astro.

“Even though he doesn’t know much about Dr. Tenma’s ideas, why would he want to not have us take part?” “Well, he said it was still under investigation; though it makes no sense for him to act like this over you and Dr. O’shay either.” Both stayed quiet for a second. It took awhile for someone to finally speak; Zircon thought of an idea and then spoke up.

“Why don’t we do so at our own time?” she asked. “You want us to investigate behind Inspector Tawashi?” Astro asked back. “He positioned his guards all over the city; how do we plan to do this without having him in this?”

Zircon had her mind caught on something after Astro had finished. She thought about her latest vision from one night; it viewed Tenma nearby an unidentified robot. It appeared to have very similar figure like…Astro? Wait; could that be possible, to have a robot who has been upgraded to an advanced version of another? She couldn’t tell; the robot she viewed from a far distance was too hard to analyze. Her vision exited.

“Dr. Tenma…” she said quietly, though Astro overheard. “Did you say something?” he asked. “Oh, it was nothing,” she said; she was a bit afraid on what Astro was going to say next. “You don’t mind if, well, if I can do this alone, do you?” This caught his attention.

“Why is it now that you want to go alone? Did something come up?” “Remember that vision I had a couple of days ago? I spotted a mysterious-looking robot nearby him; I just want to find out what that’s all about.” “Though Zircon,” Astro said. “I’m kind of afraid on what’s going to happen; are you sure about this?” Zircon looked down at the floor, and then looked back at Astro and nodded. Astro took her agreement; through he was still a bit concerned about the entire plan.

“Don’t be worried about me, Astro; nothing had is going to happen. I’ll return as soon as possible.” Astro just looked at her and smiled softly; Zircon did the same, and they later both settled in their beds. The lights went out, and Zircon turned her head to view Astro. *I’ll find a way to save Metro City; even if it takes…risking my life…*

Sometimes I have problems when I try to edit through the quick edit mode (when you edit your post right in the thread), it takes forever to load the next page with the changes. I don't want, instead I switch to the advanced mode.

Sometimes I have problems when I try to edit through the quick edit mode (when you edit your post right in the thread), it takes forever to load the next page with the changes. I don't want, instead I switch to the advanced mode.

So this problem wasn't just on my side! I first thought of a browser-specified issue, but apparently it's to find at the forum's end.

I also noticed that a post can be edited only within a certain period of time, say within a couple of hours or so. After passing this time period, the editing button disappears and the entry will remain as it is into all eternity. A. Amen!

This can be considered as a safety method for preventing any belated post removements and/or alternations that might bring some topics' flow out of context.

I see, thanks for the information. I'm able to edit all my posts, even those from over a year ago, but that must be because I'm a moderator, so I had no clue.

That must be the reason, I recall somebody doing that a year ago or so.
