I just watched the movie, I think it was true to the TV series, but a bit weird with the parallel world stuff. :hyo:

I'm collecting the manga (currently 3 volumes published in my country). I've never seen the anime, as I'm not an "anime man": I prefer to read manga, and tend to see only original animes other than adaptations.

Is the movie in English? And BTW, FMA Dual Sympathy for the DS is a great game if you fell behind in the story line. It's really cool.

As a matter of fact, it was the English dubbed version that I used. I am certain that it also has J-language, too.

This topic is so old, but It would be better to restore this one then make another one, right?

Me and my brother (Faram 45) just started watching Fullmetal Alchemist this week. Its awesome! My brother already finished it (the first one, from 2003, not the Brotherhood version). I'm still only on episode 16. =p Anyone else like this anime?

(Hope I don't get in trouble for restoring this thread. :| )

Now you're gonna get it! :p Actually, since you say something relevant to the topic, there is no trouble. :p

I cannot remember the 1st series well enough to tell the difference between them.

I tend to have that attitude also, but I think the anime is worth watching. They add little details that bring the story to life even more so.

Sparx, you can find the anime with English subs on the Funimation page on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/funimation?blend=1&ob=4 It looks like both animes are available for watching (free!).

So with the making of the FMA: Brotherhood series, do you guys think we should dismiss the old one, or keep it as a classic? I like certain things about it, but some things are done better in the manga/Brotherhood version.
