Down hill (the Llama ban thread)

My first warning to you was over a month ago. You haven't paid attention to suggestions or warnings from any of the moderators in public or private, and even as recent as yesterday you were bumping old threads again. You've learnt nothing from being banned the first time, and you show no interest in behaving properly.

You are, of course, free to go back to your fake forum where you've made 100,000 posts and where I'm sure people will believe your lies about broken bones and abusive parents. Maybe one of them will call your local child protection agency in Sydney and you can sit down and have a good chat with your parents and the police. You're bound to find plenty of places on the Internet to manupilate people into giving you sympathy so you feel as though you have some friends. But when it comes down to it, all you know how to do is suck up to people one day and then make them feel bad the next when they don't do what you want them to do.

But that's not where real friends come from, and it won't work here.

Post again while suspended and I'll make it a permanent ban.

And with this post you've done an excellent job of giving us one more reason to ban you... You've tried to manipulate the moderators when you got warned and banned and now you're starting to do it with other users too?? I'm afraid I'm a lot less tolerant when it comes to our users than the moderators...

Sparx didn't mention your nickname: you were the one to ask. If you didn't want to know, you shouldn't have asked, or if you didn't want to take the risk of having your nickname made public, then you should have asked in private.

BTW, I just want to mention that sparx didn't say anything about llama in private to any of the moderator, in case llama (or others) wonders.

And finally, since llama has mentioned my name, I have to say that I totally stand by DrFrag and the ban. It's possible that I said to llama at some point that warning her didn't mean I wanted her to leave or something like that, but obviously that doesn't meant that a user who doesn't care about warnings will never be banned.

llama: I agree with sparx. lately you have been posting a bunch of garbage, which is also why I have virtually left the site (not that i will ever leave completely) I am sorry that so many hardships have hit you, or i would if they actually happened

Llama has posted again while suspended, and has now been permanently banned.

While I am saddened by this action, I am even more saddened by Llama's uncivil & childish behavior. While DrFrag has been most visible in dealing with Llama lately, I myself created the 'Llama' thread in our moderators' forum late April. My purpose was to deal with Llama's obvious lies about 100,000 posts & being a moderator on an unnamed forum, etc.

While we do not make it our business to expose a braggart's claims as lies, Llama exhibited an offensive attitude from the start, & this was a really bad way to join any group. Moreover, the offensive behavior went far beyond mere bragging, I will spare you the details. We used kiddie gloves in dealing with Llama because although we wanted to correct Llama for the purpose of keeping the forum pleasant for other members, the last thing we wanted was to cause emotional harm to one we assumed was a child. However, in view of all that has happened, we must now draw the line. We have already taken action that Llama obviously could not endure. Llama has screamed and kicked during the entire process.

I not only stand by the decision, but insist uopn it: rules are meaningless unless they are enforced. We moderators are contemplating some rule changes or additions, in hopes of heading off any future incidents similar to this one. We lost more than a few precious members soon after Llama's arrival, and it is difficult to presume that they would have left anyway, had Llama not arrived. We hope anyone who left because of Llama's offenisive behavior will soon return.

Hey guys, long time no talk, sad to hear about this whole thing. I haven't been on in a few months and am going to Australia for a few weeks. I haven't left the forums though.
