I was a total zit-face when I was a teen. My skin was very sensitive, & burned when IVORY soap touched it. So, not knowing of any other soap, I used none on my face. Well, I guess the only isle of the grocery store I ever visited, was the candy isle. It simply never occurred to me to buy my own soap.

Well, I guess the only isle of the grocery store I ever visited, was the candy isle. It simply never occurred to me to buy my own soap.

I went through similar inconveniences. I've had a lot of acne in my late teens, in fact I nearly struggled daily with my skin till the age of 26. I used lots of cleaning solvent, uncountable sorts of creams... I even ended up taking in pills for my skin to become at least partly spotfree. Although my skin is pretty clean nowadays, some nasty ones still use to emerge on occasion; and of course - they use to appear at very pleasant places such as on the ala of the nose or on the top of it, in the middle of the eyebrows, in the ears close to the auditory canal, on eyelids..., I could go on.
I can recall my mum trashing a lot of my clothes because they got bleached at the collar due to my heavily use of acne creams. In brief; it was a pain in the neck.
Hence I can empathize with anyone who currently is going through troubles similar to it.
