I think it was banned because it 'suggested' that little kids could or should drive like Cruella Deville. However, I think it was ok to show them fantasizing, but it went too far in some of the stunts. People just do not interrpret it as a child's fantasy. Our culture is too likely to miss the metaphor and interpret things concretely.

I know who she is, it's just that I never thought to see or hear anyone likened to Cruella.... Not me...

I'd still rather have the corvette...

Yeah, but its still no ZR1; & as far as I am concerned, it really made little sense to continue the Corvette with a mere push rod engine, once the ZR1 showed what A Corvette should be. Still, coming from me, a guy who drives a Matrix, it seems odd that I should critique a 'Vette.
