Hi- Thanks, if the movie is as good as the 2003 episodes that i seen i will love Astroboy the movie. One thing i know for sure is i am definitely the biggest fan of Astroboy in my family. If the movie is as good as i hope i will try to change that and introduce some members of my family to Astroboy. They will not love him as much as i do, but i believe they will become fans. Your friend, always praying everyone the best, Toni

It got my mom started onand she's been a fan since.
You're lucky there. I hardly have any relatives (not to say none at all) who are raving for Astroboy. They just use to comment the series like 'well, nice cartoon, but not my cup of coffee'.
I'm getting along very well with any of my family members, however when it comes down introducing Astro to them, they turn out to be merely ignorants.

Well..., different people = different realities.

I guess. My father had a thing for Leone's westerns. I find them awfully boring. I do get a little bit offended when my mom thinks I like watching Astroboy (or similar shows) because I'm just like a little girl again... It's not that different than my father's westerns to me. However then my parents didn't really grow with a TV set so I guess they do not understand what childhood memories mean to us.

Yeah, my parents are pretty much the same, and since I do not have any brothers or sisters, I only have friends to introduce Astro to. But, I don't see any point in that because all they're into these days is partying till three in the morning and drinking. They have no time for t.v.
My dad used to watch the 1960's series when he was a child, and when I showed him a few episodes he said he remembered them. My mum had never even heard of Astro until I started watching the 1980's series. I guess my parents don't mind Astro, but they wouldn't want to watch it, although my mum does tend to sit and watch it with me when it's on while she waits for her show to start

I don't understand how these stupid boobs (restrain yourself, Daichi...) can diss something as truly awesome as Astroboy and then turn around and watch a generic, craptastic show about some stupid "ninja" who wears an orange jumpsuit and screams "believe it" over and over.
