I've said this somewhere before, but Tenma fandom appears to be an aqcuired taste. When I was little, he creeped me out. Didn't hate him, just didn't understand how his hair could defy physical laws.



I remember this young lady on YouTube - her comments were on Luti's 2003 series videos - who had quite a few hateful things to say about Dr. T. I've only been able to find three of her comments, and she seemed to really hate him or was just being a troll. She closed up her account not too long ago.

Grr, I hate trolls, the nasty buggers. I know I'm not the nicest person ever, but I don't seek out people, characters, artwork, and fandoms just to knock 'em.
They're just lonely pieces of crap looking for attention, and should be ignored.

Now, this will be worth nothing compared to Daichi's stuff, but last night I drew Skunk Kusai from the 80's series. Unfortunately, my mother said he looked like "a Batman villain", which is probably a bad thing.

Some time after I started to draw, I had our resident Kusai-enthusiast Mr Skunk in mind. I hope she likes it. Or even knows it exists...

I loved Tenma from the getgo-but I might not have felt the same about him if I wasn't aware of his angst. I had a big problem with him in the 2003 series-they couldn't leave him as this brokenhearted, short tempered, frustrated lout with a lousy grasp of free will.
No, they had to make him this evil, manipulative Social Darwinist out to start a World War. That completely killed the reconsolation between him and Astro for me. :d oh:
