It is forgivable when you review the first and second topics, the first being a failure and the second being like the first only rephrased and thus successful.
Because the RPG does not have an official website or any such a thing, I have decided to post info/updates/production screenshots/links to demos/etc. here for you guys to (hopefully) enjoy.
Comments, questions, suggestions, etc, are all highly appreciated and very welcome. After all, they let me know that someone is interested in the game and I'm not just making this for the sheer sake of saying that I did.
Now then, with that out of the way I will begin with a simple list of features.
The game is still in its early stages of development, but it's coming along smoothly and quickly, as of now.
It features a daytime system that cycles between morning, day, afternoon, and night, as well as a weather system that varies depending on the region. In Metro City the weather is fairly mild; It will probably be sunny or cloudy, but it might also rain. Whereas, in Guravia rain is much more likely, and it comes harder too, sometimes even as a thunderstorm.
You can unlock alternate outfits for every party member, too, ranging from cute outfits to Tezuka cameos to retro costumes from the 80's, and even some original designs.
The roster for party members is pretty varied. Each character has his/her own unique skills and stats and thus a bit of strategy is involved in choosing a party.
Party Members
Astro is of course the lead character. He is an all-around ally with balanced statistics and a lineup including both offensive and defensive skills.
Denkou is the second character to join the party. She's a tomboy who learned various pickpocketing skills while under Skunk's care, and thus her class is that of the 'Thief'. She learns special stealing abilities as well as throwing and addling techniques.
Nuka, third, is gentle and warm. The party's "white mage", she learned healing and support techniques. However, she is not a pushover by any means, and thus she is also capable of learning the powerful "Holy" techniques.
Pero is grumpy and pessimistic, but has the canine attributes of being unfalteringly loyal and trustworthy. He gets along horribly with Atlas. Pero learns strictly physical techniques. He lacks any 'magic' ability.
Klaus, like Pero, isn't widely known amongst Astroboy fans. Quiet, calm, and elegant, he's a government agent. He always seems to know exactly how to handle a situation. As a "black mage", he learns attacking techniques such as "Fire" and "Bolt". He has little physical strength, but then, he doesn't need it.
Atlas, next to join, is cast in a role similar to his 2003 persona. He uses physical attacks that utilize elemental attributes, giving him an edge over his enemies. He counts on defeating enemies quickly; his defense is somewhat low.
Rag, the president of Guravia, is next to last to join the party, but more than worth the wait. Though small and physically weak, he is a summoner, and can call forth and control powerful mechanical entities that can attack or heal to aide the party.
Unfortunately, when he first joins, it's an instant game over if his HP drops to 0.
Epsilon is the last to join. Something of a combination of both roles, she is in touch with nature in all its forms. If hit, she can learn the techniques of enemies to turn them back against their users, a useful and versatile trait that enables her to learn a wide variety of skills.
I am not currently totally sure as to what I should write about until my first update.
Just say whatever you want to know and I'll put it in my next post.
Maybe a Tezuka cast list, or story summaries, or the party members' full bios, or more special features, or something along those lines?
