Bulbo sounds like a good addition to the RPG's cast, and I'll definitely make room to use him.

These are very interesting suggestions, and I'd like to hear more.

Well, not all of the characters are set in place yet, but I'm afraid I've got some plans already for Rag's and Nuka's backgrounds.
I've been thinking of including Michi but I don't know where or how, nor have I yet decided what to do with Duke Red or Roc. I'm up for more suggestions on those, in particular.

(As a side-note, and this is just me splitting hairs, Osamu Tezuka spelled Roc's name with no 'K', like the bird of myth. In Omega Factor, they mispelled it)

ah alright i'm used to Rock due to since Metropoils anime magezines/movie magezines they refer him to Rock,
I think Roc and/or Duke red could be the human vilains ? Michi could play the death machine or just a good robot? X D

Well I don't know what the death machine is from, since I only saw it in Omega Factor, and I'm trying to do things differently from them. It's more my own issue than anything else, after all when I first began writing ideas for the RPG it sounded way too much like it.

Don't sweat the misspelling of ol' Roc's name, I'm just picky. X-)

Anyways, yeah, Roc and Duke Red would make great human villains. Any ideas as to motives or plots for them?

Michi doesnt have to be the death machine but maybe turn to become a evil `very angry` robot like she did in Metropoils Manga/Anime.
Well Roc, could be out as revenge towards Rag but since you told me you already decided his history he could be a hencmen of Duke Red.
Duke Red could be a mob like he was in Metropoils or just a robot hater like he was in Astroboy.

You're right on the money. Didn't think of it before, but Duke Red could play a role something like in Metropolis. And like you say, perhaps Roc could be his son-thing or henchman.
Hmm... But what could his motive and goals be?


By the way, off-topic, I can't stop staring at your new avatar. It's gorgeous, who did the artwork, and where did you get it? And is that Tenma...?

Well Duke Red's evil side only cares about power..he could try to take over the world or something.

Yeah, that's probably to be the case. But maybe adding a new dimension would expand his character a little. Like he's evil and power-hungry but there is something more to him.

Maybe, after all that's what made him go nutty in Metropolis. But maybe something new would help. Maybe something crazy involving Roc?

I'm sorry but there just a few Astroboy related slash websites of pictures of Astro/Atlas, in Japan it seems Astro/Tenma is the most populair slash couple in the fandom unlike the Western slash fandom.

What `kind of crazy involving Roc are you talking about ` ? can you be more clear on what you mean? something bad happening to Roc ? Or Roc being a bad influnce to him?
