Yes, he did; however, while he did answer my inquiry about his well-being, he showed no interst in mine. I concluded that I had lost his friendship, deleted his email, & hoped to forget about him.

Damn, that sucks. I feel sympathy and empathy both: I know exactly how you feel. People change, but it seems like they never change back.

What he did was wrong. He should've at least said goodbye instead of just leaving you peeps without a word! He doesn't deserve your thoughts and care!!
Just forget about him. What kind of creep abandons his friends and leaves them to worry!

Please don't shout. Crazy didn't have any bad intention, in fact he was just trying to be nice, so I don't think he deserved to get a reply as if he had been mean. He also posted on the same day that jeffbert had posted, so it's not like he moved up the thread from page 2 or something.

I'll just say that as far as I'm concerned, should DrFrag decide to come back, I'd welcome him. Also, while it may seem that he doesn't care, I unexpectedly received a very nice message from him after something bad happened to me (somebody else told him about it). Even though we were both moderators, we have never developed a more personal relationship so I doubt I was a special person to him.

While I understand jeffbert's feelings, I don't think anybody here really knows what went through his mind, so I think it'd be better to avoid bashing somebody who's not around. Since it doesn't seem like there are any good vibrations left in this thread anymore, I'm going to close it. This will also prevent this thread from being bumped up after it went down on page 102547 or so.
