Suggestion: A Chat Room?

I think some users get aggravated by this.

Be specific: I see four things aggravating in this picture.

I mean some people don’t want a chat room, and this tread to get bumped over and over gets annoying for those users.

I’m just pointing it out, because when I bumbled the thread people jumped on me saying ‘no, it’s a bad idea.’

What do you see which is aggravating Daichi?

I see pros and cons to this idea, Ill do may best to list them:

Pros: A chat room is a more direct way to meet people and have them introduce themselves freely (posting and replying is a tad slow, sorry to say), For the people who have ideas to improve the site or want an in-depth, mature way to chat about things about Astro or life in all its gloriousness.

Cons: Mods would be needed to keep people from being harrassed daily (Im one on another site, and It gets ANNOYING banning the same person because they cant be reasoned with), The chat can go VERY silent on occaisions (but I think all chats suffer from this).

If I left any out, post em up

And why is a topic about a chat room annoying? Oo Its just a topic; Its a person choice to read it or pass it by.

I don't find it annoying, I like the idea. I'm just saying people will protest in ome way.

You didnt do anything wrong Sparx, and I know its not adverse to you, and the idea of a chat room does sound really nice....It is a good idea, but for now, I think I agree with what was said earlier; we can post to communicate just fine. (looks out window and sighs dreamily about Atlas)
