What kind of action figures would Astro play with?

Why would he need to play with action figures? His life is filled with action, I would think he would pursue quiet activities. However, friendship seems very important to him, so whatever he does, he would likely prefer doing it with his friends.
I think Astro's kind of a chump for fairy tales (the 1963 Princess Lollipop and the 2003 Snarfwidgit epps come to mind) so I think he'd go for D&D or Lord of the Rings.

Hmm, think he'd play with Masters of the Universe?
Eh, I don't MOTU is quaint enough for him, the shows themselves ring too much of a 30 minute toy commercial.
Yeah, but when you're mentally nine, does that really matter? XD I know it didn't for me.
How about Star Wars?

Jeffbert prolly has the best answer around here, but let's keep kickin' this around just for snots an' giggles.
I think Astro's personal experience would contradict the cut-and-dried good v.evil of 'Masters'. Star Wars might be a step up if he can overlook the servitiude status of the droid characters.

I think Astroboy would love the action figures associated with shows like Danny Phantom.

I think he'd play with action figures because super hero or not, he still has the mind of a child and as such, would most likely still enjoy child things like action figures. Especially if they were based on something he enjoyed like Star Wars, or Transformers. (Yup, I can bet that in the year 2030, we'll still have Star Wars and Transformers toys XD)

For someone with a child's mind he does some good adult thinking.

granted. Astro's mind is one that's difficult to really label but I still think he might get a joy out of certain toys
