Seriously, though, they're chocolate-covered biscuit sticks, a Japanese treat. They taste like cookies and are exceedingly popular amongst anime fans.

At any given anime convention, I can guarantee you two things: They will sell Pocky in the dealer's room, and the chocolate and strawberry flavoured ones will all sell out on the first day. Unless you're quick, you'll get stuck with something crappy like banana. Yech.
