Actually, if you have any questions about Black Jack, just ask me. Heh.

Osamu Tezuka appears as a medical doctor in Black Jack TV (funny if you think about it). He makes as a sidecharacter and is often a source of humor, including an instance in which he is caught reading sci-fi magazines.

Marukubi Boon actually makes a few appearances in the show playing various roles.

Dr. Ochanomizu appears as a sushi chef.

Hideoyaji appears as the owner of a coffeshop Black Jack frequents.

Skunk appears in a different episode with his 2003 Astro looks as a criminal.

Nicolas, one-shot character from 2003 Astro Boy, appears as a patient.

Also, I know we're not talking about the manga at the moment (it has too damn many cameos to count), but I want to say that Atlas appears in it as a doctor.

The list goes on...

Yeah... As it is, most of Black Jack is only available in Japanese, including my favourite film, "The Two Doctors of Darkness". Which is a real shame...

No, just a really good example of the Tezuka Star System.

Tezuka always used his characters like actors, and recast them into new "roles" in different series(es?). The character would look maybe a little different, but always have the same personality.

Oh wow, how could you not know about the Tezuka Star System?
Osamu Tezuka was a genius. He created a large cast of characters who appear frequently in different stories playing different roles. I can explain everything you'd need to know if you have questions, but a basic explanation can be found on Wikipedia.
