Note that most of these are older B&W films & younger viewers may find them campy & not at all frightening.

Edit: added this
A few notable ones:
Fri, 30: 9:00am I Walked With A Zombie (1943)
A nurse in the Caribbean resorts to voodoo to cure her patient, even though she's in love with the woman's husband.
Cast: Frances Dee, Tom Conway, James Ellison. Dir: Jacques Tourneur. BW-69 mins, TV-PG

Sat, 31: 2:15pm White Zombie (1932)
A zombie master menaces newlyweds on a Haitian plantation.
Cast: Bela Lugosi, Madge Bellamy, John Harron. Dir: Victor Halperin. BW-67 mins, TV-PG

These films have the true zombies, the mind-numbed slaves-type, rather than the cannibal-type.

Fri 30th: 3:30pm Body Snatcher, The (1945)
To continue his medical experiments, a doctor must buy corpses from a grave robber.
Cast: Boris Karloff, Henry Daniell, Bela Lugosi. Dir: Robert Wise. BW-78 mins, TV-PG

This one relates to a picture of Skunk on the Tezuka in English forum:
Rock's Sunglasses wrote:An internet buddy wanted something with a pickaxe in it. I imagined Skunk (oh, man, is he fun to draw). What resulted was a picture one wants to know absolutely no more about:

And like I suggested earlier: Skunk in a top hat just works.

I totally loved this one, esp the 1st of the 3 stories, DR. HEIDEGGER'S EXPERIMENT as it had an absolutely hilarious ending! However, the 1 that I needed most was RAPPACCINI'S DAUGHTER, because while I remembered certain plot elements from having seen it years ago, I simply could not find it since then, having forgotten its name & the fact that it was only 1 of 3 stories in a film. :d evil:

I tried watching this one, but the 1st story seemed only about cruelty rather than horror. If I had remembered that it was 3 separate stories, I would not have deleted it after watching only 30 minutes.
