You rule, Wolf!
Miller has a good knowledge of manga world, and his interpretation of Lone Wolf and Cub, visible on the covers of some western editions is just as good as Goseki Kojima's art.

Now that I think of it, I've red or seen Gigantor/Tetsujin 28. As a fan of mechas, I'm ashamed to myself.

And now, for something completely different. Another cameo:

Midnight: Act 8.

On one of his vigilante missions, Midnight goes after some thugs who have stolen a whole rocket battery which was being carried on a truck. Midnight shoots all of them on an empty space in order to destroy all of them without hurting anybody. But we can see that between the rockets there's something weird at the very least:

I thought the exact same thing when I first saw that. Good series though.
Does anyone else here know those "Slylock Fox" comics? I saw one where there was a portrait of Astro boy in the back

On the 4th of July, 2003, Astro appeared on his own Google tribute. Shame this tribute only appeared in google.com.jp

There's a brit-pop band on Uruguay called Astroboy:

Formed on 2003, their name comes from the members being fans of Astro. Their sound is inspired by bands such as Oasis and Happy Mondays. They sing both in Spanish and English.

And there's more: this photo comes from England

Astro Curry along with Shin Chan curry and One Piece curry (this one comes in two varieties). If we eat them all, we'll fly like Astro, be mischevious like Shin Chan and be capable to elongate our body like Luffy? If so, make mine one of each, please!
