Color selector not working

When creating a new post or editing an old one, I noticed that the font color selector no longer works. Instead of producing a pull down selection of colors, it now only makes a small white dot appear when clicking the arrow, and makes "{COLOR="#000000"}{/COLOR}" where '[' & ']' are reprented by '{' & '}'. While I usually just type the code manually, if I want something other than the usual colors, I need that feature. I am not going to look up the hexidecimal codes!
