I just watched that on DVD; it had a featurette about the guy who greated Gojira. The film was actually pretty good. Apparently, they learned from the American version of Gojira, Godzilla, that it helps sell the picture in the USA to have an American in the cast. Thus, from the start, the cast included Nick Adams. Unlike Godzilla, in which American editors inserted a few scenes with Raymond Burr in them, & likewise did the same to Planeta Burg making Voyage to a Prehistoric Planet with a few added clips of the Sherlock Holmes actor Basil Rathbone, Monster Zero or dubbed version Invasion of the Astro Monsters was created with international distribution in mind from the start.

I only watched the Japanese version, though it might have been funnier with the dub.

Well I have the Invasion of Astro Monster DVD, the Silver cover one? And the only thing is the Japanese version on the disk has audio distortion on my system. And I think they used toooo much stock footage from old Rodan and Mothra movies in it as an obvious cost savings. But still it's very very good.
The DVD is very good video on my system and the english dub is the best i've seen of this title.
