
A few classics, & one that I have yet to see will be on starting at 8PM (EST, USA)
- 8PM: I Married A Monster From Outer Space (1958). Though a low-budget film, it had some respectible SFX.
- 9:30PM: Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956). A classic, though it lacks the usual elements of scifi, it is rather tense.
- 11PM: 27th Day, The (1957) If you watched The Dark Knight, you may recall a scene on ferryboats with 2 groups each possessing remote detonators to destroy the other. This film featured a similar plot element 50 years ago.
- 12:30AM (4/1): H-Man, The (1958) I just must see this one, as it has victims melting away into slime! :d evil:
- 2AM: Forbidden Planet (1956) A Scifi take on the Tempest.
- 3:45AM (4/1): Lost Missile, The (1958) melts everthing it passes!
- 5AM (4/1): Hidden Values: The Movies of the '50s (2001) features commentary on films from Corman and contemporary people. A sentence from paragraph 3, The one-hour documentary takes a film-by-film approach to explore the changing portrayal of teenagers and juvenile delinquents, society's anxiety about science and technology, the struggle for control within the family and changing ideas about expressing sexuality.
