Never thought I'd see the day... Another Skunk fan!

I can never choose which series i like him better in, all three are so different. I think I'll have to go with the 80s version, because i think it embodies everything he as a character is supposed to be; sneaky, sinister, and a lowlife, and his appearence justifies it even more so. Though the 2003 version is a close second.

Have you read any other Skunk stories. I like him in Black Jack as well, especially "Volcano."

It's true that the 2003's version is close to the earlier... without the blue skin, and this lowlife side however. I think he looks more well-groomed in the last, therefore less sinister...

I know this character only by the Astroboy 1980/2003' series. I'm not attracted by the 60's version. So, I don't know anything about the other Skunk stories... It's interesting, tell me more if you want ^^

Most of his appearance in the B&W were excluded from the English language version; thus, few outside Japan even know of his true sinister character that becomes worse as the series progresses.

Mmm... always the cut scene's story ! I currently watch the 80's version in french, and I know the frustration when I see how much minutes were cut in an episode... So, I'm not surprised when you tell me that scenes were cut from the japanese to the english...

I'll try to see an original version to compare...
