Hello,all! I apologize for having been gone. Life gets in the way, sometimes . . .

I just posted on the movie thread. I saw it last night and was not entirely pleased, and I have a lot of thoughts. It's well worth seeing, and the flight scenes are fantastic. I just wish the script were a little better.

This last year I contacted as many of the 1980 voice actors as I could find, and almost all are interested in doing a new project with a new script. I'm not sure whether this would be a CD or -- maybe more interesting -- a DVD of us performing radio-show style. Maybe both? With the economy, production money has been tight, or I would have moved on it already.

I also have the original pilot. It's a little ragged and needs editing, but it might be of more interest to fans to see the loose ends here and there. It's really unfortunate that it never aired. Securing rights to release it is problematic, and of course I don't want to pirate it for fans. I'll do a commentary on it soon, so you at least all know its content.

Jay, it's so good to hear from you again! It's also wonderful that you're putting so much effort into releasing the full pilot and a new audio project; everybody here is dearly appreciative of what you're doing.

Yeah, the movie was a little rocky, but I enjoyed about a good 2/3 of it. (My only qualms were with some of the jokes and Tenma's voice.)

So I gather we're talking about the 1980's version? Never understood why Skunk was blue skinned in that one. Okay Jay I do have a question. Since you were a Skunk what did you think of Wally Wingert's performance as Skunk in the 2003 series? And Candi Milo's performance as Astro?
