It's a bit less grainy, but just a bit. I've got all the special features in their own folder, and all the episode VOBs have been split into chapter cells and placed into folders for each episode. I haven't done any encoding yet; I'm checking out 4chan to see if anyone there is interested in the project.
Nice - sounds like those Japanese discs are awesome quality! I look forward to hearing your progress and if there's anything I can do to help.
On a sidenote (and just an idea), it'd be neat to potentially expand the project if it goes well and some eager subbers are found - there are still a lot of 60's episodes never dubbed or subbed at all, not to mention "crossovers" like the "Marine Express" movie, which I'm sure would be interesting.

Great, Thank you so much, sgupta, for loading the files. Once you're done, we need to create a small web page which has links to the files. So please keep track of them and note their names and descriptions for each one. Do you know html? If not, I can create the web page, but you'll need to supply the information.

Bad Username, that's great to hear on the Subs channel on IRC. That might make things much cheaper/easier!
AstroRex, I should be able to handle the HTML page once done - that won't be an issue. Thanks again for the space AstroRex! About 1/3 of the AVI's are up so far. Decided instead of zipping them, since there are only 23, keeping them separate so people can download as they want to watch/have space for 'em - same with the 6 ISO's.

I'm making 1:1 raws of the first volume; they're a gig and a half each, but they're ideal for translators to work from and reencode (or just release an MKV with the subs matched to the raw). The Anons on /m/ seem to be very receptive to the project, as well. The only obstacle left is the lack of free time on the translators' part, and that should clear itself up in a little while.
