What episode was it?

Just how many episodes where Astro gets shot? I know there is one in the old 1960s then in the 80s version where he gets shot in the same place. What episodes were they?

That is the theater version of The Blue Knight or, Astro Boy: Shinsen-gumi as the title says. Note the characters' names as shown in the google translation of the page.

Bon Blue (Blue Bon), Maria, Tonto, Dr. Rossu, & Lamp. These characters are straight out of the 64th comic adventure published in Shonen magazine. The English translation is in Dark Horse's volume 19, if you are interested in reading it. BTW, it is only the 1st part of a 4 part story, others are in vol. 20. :astro:

As far as episodes go, this story was told in #179 & 180 of the B&W series.

Thank you as always Jeff Your information has helped me more then a member of the astro boys creation comity that came to AWA-Con. You definantly need to come up when that happens again in september and show those people up. Seriously they didn't even know what happened to Astros mom.

OK; but I am not god in crowded situations. I would avoid conventions, as much as I might otherwise want to attend. If I ever have my work published, I might feel a bit different about it, though.

awww. I had to get up in front of everyone in my cosplay outfit and talk about Iron Man 2 at comic-con. I was nervous right before, but as I was going through it I got better with it. But yeah I understand how that could be. Nervous and not prepared. Specially with thousands of fangirls/boys wanting to know every little thing.

Aaarghh! I would be very uneasy being the center of attention like that, I am very self-conscious. I do not know which would be worse, being on stage or being in the crowd. :p

LoL its a lot easier being in the crowd. You don't have to talk at all lol.
