DUCK AND COVER on TCM Sat 5/8

I remember doing these drill at school, so very long ago. TCM will show this short animated film 5/8 @ 5:30 AM (Eastern Std. time). At the time few people thought this was funny, but now, many may feel a bit different.

Yeah! I remember that too! Sometimes drills at school (we had to go out in the hall and sit curled up). And at home we went under the kitchen table and had to wait for a horn to blow to signal the end of the drill.

Then my dad actually built a bomb shelter in our basement. I kept asking "When are we gonna sleep in the bomb shelter!!??" Ahhh the innocence of youth! I thought it was kind of a cool club house!! Oy vey!
