What episode is Dawn of the Techno-Revolution sopposed to be?

I had it as episode 20 and i had sorted out all the episodes in the right order but when i got to that one it showed flash backs from episode I never seen before, like the Blue Knight.

Can someone tell me what episode its supposed to be and what goes in its place.

I have 50 Episodes.

Its a bit of a mess. When they dubbed the series into English they messed around with the episode order. They also completely removed episode 20 Eternal Boy. Because Eternal Boy was epsiode 20 in Japanese they decided to put this recap episode at number 20.

My dvd collection actually puts it after the finale, make it episode 50, however if you want to make the series watchable, then you could put it around 40 or something, before the final arc begins but after all of the single "filler" episodes.

Interestingly the episode actually contains footage from Eternal Boy and thus it is impossible to put it anywhere that would make actual sense. Unless you included the Japanese version of 20 somewhere in there.

It is garbage meant to replace "Eternal Boy". It doesn't even have a coherent story.

It's just Shadow and Tenma having a clipshow catfight over whether or not Astro is good enough. You'd might as well skip it; I remember Robotech: The Macross Saga having an episode that was half-clipshow, and this thread makes me think that maybe I should inquire into whether or not they took something huge out.
