Good for you, Sparx; the time to start working on that is while you are still young, you will benefit from any improvements.
In any case, I enjoy your displays of logic anyway."fafner" wrote:You have Asperger syndrom crazyd2000? I suspect I have it since a few months, but it is not confirmed (never talked to a doctor about that). People keep saying I am too logical while I think that most people aren't enough, that alone is enough
By the way, there seems to have a link between Asperger and ADHD. Sparx, were you diagnosed with Asperger? I know by experience (at least I suppose) that having Asperger as a child without being aware of it can lead to serious troubles similar to what you are saying.

Of your professors?"fafner" wrote:I don't know how far it can be sever, I know it was quite sever for me. I have been tested against autism, with negative results. Even if Asperger syndrom is similar to autism, it is not autism. It began to be known from specialists around 1990, too late for meIt was the cause of many problems in my childhood, as well as psychological traumatisms among many of my professors
One of them who had happened to be psychologist had told my parents that it had taken about 6 months to know how to work out an acceptable relation with me
So I guess the ones who were not psychologists never found out what to do

"fafner" wrote:Sparx, it looks like you are too impulsiveI was too impulsive when I was your age too, and I still am by moments. When I am upset by something, I always try too cool down and think about it after re-reading twice or more. Very often, I will find out that I misunderstood what was written, or more precisely that I interpreted it in a biased way.
Now about you "lying" about piloting a F-14, I must say that the way you speak about that sounds like someone who speaks a lot about something because he/she knows he/she can't do it. However, speaking that way certainly doesn't mean that it applies to you. But people will often make the shortcut between something that sounds likely with something that is certain. You alone know whether you can do it or not. People who say you can't (as well as the ones who say you can) aren't the ones who know, even if they believe soSooner or later, you will pass tests for that. You succeed, you do it. You fail, you give up and do something else. Plain and simple
Other people can't pass the test for you
