Yes it is true that the site has had errors in the past, but looking at the synopses of the Astro Boy/TetsuWan Atom series; these were in good English grammatically speaking and the translations are most accurate.
[As for the "sink" incident you mention, I spoke about that with Jeffbert in another thread. The word "nagashi" which can be translated as "sink" (or more exactly as "kitchen sink") was incorrectly used in the original translation of "Robotto Nagashi"! Sometimes translators may have knowledge of what a word is in another language, but sometimes they forget about what might be termed as idiomatic expressions especially when dealing with words or titles which are used as play-on words or titles. For ex. "Robotto Nagashi" was a play-on the term, "Toro Nagashi" which is the term for the floating of paper lanterns down a river in honor of the dearly departed. The story was a twist on the Bon festival which is a time used for honoring the deceased. In this case robots resembling lost ones were being sent floating down a river instead of paper lanterns, after the families of the dearly departed had commemorated the memory of their lost ones.]
Any way I still feel the site is worth looking at, as these will become the official titles used for when referring to these episodes.
