Japanese like to warm sake to drink but it can be served any way really and enjoyed. Just remember it's a sipping alcohol and not to be drank like shots or anything like that... you'll get drunk really really quick.

Warmed sake in my opinion is best, and I am not much of an alcohol drinker.

I just had a "pink lady" apple, nice and crisp with lots of juice. Later I think I'll roast them.

I'm not sure what the alcohol content was for the sake I bought, but it felt like something more than a beer, and less than a whiskey.

Yummy! I love bowtie pasta, they are so lovely.

I made some vegetable rice with broccoli, sweet peppers, onions and garlic cooked in chicken broth. I roasted some chicken quarters as well to go with it and drizzled some of the drippings into the rice.

Tomorrow, since we have rice left over, I will make that into some fried rice with maybe some curried chicken.

I made myself some green tea over rice with salmon and wasabi flavored seaweed for lunch. Not exactly a traditional Japanese recipe, but OK.

Odd, that is the first time I have ever seen Farfalle referred to as, 'bowtie pasta'.

I had Irish Soda Bread with melted butter and cheddar cheese.

Maybe it's a regional thing. That reminded me of this quiz where it tells you where you live (in the United States) based on what you call things.

I love butter and cheese, I put them on pasta and rice and bagels.
For lunch today I had a chicken stir-fry with broccoli and rice. And orange juice! :D

I took the test, but the map is broken at the end of it. It will be interesting to see what dialect is most like my British accent.

It is currently breakfast for me. I have not been feeling well today, as I woke up around 4am. I am having tea with 4 slices of cinnamon breakfast cake.
