Yes! Someone else who likes FF! They are one of my all time favorite bands and I do agree, their songs are fitting. I think the song Battle for Utopia from their latest album Genexus is most fitting.

Huzzah! Always good to see a fellow FF fan. And yes to Battle for Utopia. I was always quite partial to Dark Bodies, Obsolete and Shock myself with regard to 'fitting' music. Though Edgecrusher's intro reminds me so bad of 2003 Tenma's voice (Mmmm Dorian voice *Homer Simpson gargling noise*) that it makes me giggle.

I actually went to see them live some years ago, but poor Burton had a damn cold so he was wheezing the lyrics haha. Amazing set though.

I also saw them live late last year for the first time, Burton did not have a cold (poor Burton, must have been real hard for him), but he was struggling to hit those high notes he makes in a lot of his songs. I believe he is around 60 years of age now, which might explains things. When I saw them live, they were singing the whole Remanufacture album and Shock was so powerful, felt like my heart was going to come out of my chest.

Shock is one of the best songs to hear live. It's just chest-explodingly good. But yeah, poor dude was croaking when I saw them. He tried his damn best but kept swearing up a storm for not being able to sing right. Felt terrible for him, but everyone enjoyed the night regardless so he had nothing to worry about.

As for his age, I think he was born February 19th 1969 so he's well into his 40's bordering 50's. I hope he doesn't wreck his voice too much, I enjoy his work.

But yes, I was very pleased no one complained. (If they did we didn't hear them.) It's always good when the fan base is decent. I went to see a few bands before (Slayer, SOAD, Lacuna Coil) and all people did was complain.
